In any aspect of life there are things we know, things we don’t know and things we don’t know that we don’t know. What we do know at BL&CR is that:

  • We know that we know where creatives of colour are and we know how to work with them.
  • We know that we can connect talented and skilled creatives and agencies to one another and find the best fit.

  • We believe that integration is possible and that it can be simple to achieve.
  • We exist to assist in painting a vision of the world we want to see where we are all able to contribute equally using our abilities, talent, skills as a springboard/starting point.
  • We believe diversity is a strength.
  • We are actively working towards a world where our service is not required.

“It is time for parents to teach young people early on that in diversity there is beauty and there is strength.”
Maya Angelou

“I know there is strength in the differences between us. I know there is comfort, where we overlap.”
Ani DiFranco

“If we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity.
[Commencement Address at American University, June 10 1963]
John F. Kennedy

“If man is to survive, he will have learned to take a delight in the essential differences between men and between cultures. He will learn that differences in ideas and attitudes are a delight, part of life’s exciting variety, not something to fear.”
Gene Roddenberry

We strive to ensure that agencies and creatives both feel like they can build a great relationship together; we do this by incorporating a rigorous process in which, through a detailed interview process with agencies and creatives, reach upon a decision on the best fit for both the candidate and the agencies we work with.

We want to ensure that agencies and creatives both feel like they can build a great relationship together.

Through out professional experience we have recognized that there is a space between black creatives and agencies, therefore, BL&CR aims to be the bridge between the two.

  • We make integration easier by presenting creatives to agencies that fit them.
  • We endeavor to guide agencies in a seamless process of integration.
  • BL&CR exists to be a wheel that smoothes the process.
  • We are committed to supply talent that suits your agency while also making sure that creatives understand their role in the agency they will join whilst supporting them in being able to perform to the best of their ability.
  • We are committed to working closely with creatives in allowing them to excel & thrive in any professional environment they find themselves in.

We understand that companies are looking to hire creatives of colour & that integration and inclusion is a serious part of good business practice. Which is why we have curated this directory to contribute towards bringing forth a more diverse creative industry.

Integration does not only lie in the hands of the employer, we as recruitment agencies must also do our best to put the most suitable creatives of colour in front of you.

Our aim is to instil a sense of confidence in creatives of colour and help them thrive. We want to make sure they understand their value, their role within the creative industry and how it will change as they grow.

All applications are held confidentially, and no details are released without prior approval of our candidates.
